Boston Network Users Group Meeting
May 2 @ 6:30 pm

The Boston Network Users Group was founded in December, 1986 and has been serving IT professionals and nonprofessionals since then with monthly meetings on current technical topics and other events. The group is entirely volunteer-run and charges no membership fees (we never have and don’t intend to change).
Our meetings are open to members and nonmembers, for no charge, usually on the first Tuesday of the month. We hold board meetings usually on the third Tuesday of the month and welcome (and encourage) all interested to join us. Consult our web page and our meetup site (www.meetup.com/b-n-u-g) for information.

Greater Boston Association of Information Technology Professionals @ Phillip's Old Colony House
May 18 @ 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

The Board’s Message

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join the Boston chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP).
With approximately 4,000 members throughout the U.S. and Canada, AITP is one of the oldest organizations for technology professionals providing the very best networking opportunities and continuing education for IT professionals and practitioners.

Founded in 1951, AITP promotes the responsible management of information technology to the benefit of its members, their employers and society. At one time the Boston Chapter of AITP boasted over 500 members and was considered one of the premier chapters in North America. Our goal is to surpass these membership numbers and grow the Boston Chapter to its full potential.

While there are many IT user groups and continuing education opportunities in the Boston area, there are none with such a diverse membership as AITP to include CIO’s, managers, programmers, network engineers, web developers and all technology professionals wishing to expand their potential, manage their career and learn about new technologies and best practices.

Our dinner meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of every month. Come join us at our next meeting and network with other information technology professionals – all our welcome and we look forward to seeing you then. Thank you.
